The Tilt-in-Space Shower Commode Wheelchair is designed for elderly and complex-needs patients who require full postural support during showering, toileting, and transport. The tilt-in-space mechanism tilts the entire seating system up to 45 degrees backward without changing the hip angle — redistributing pressure to prevent pressure sores while maintaining optimal posture. The backrest reclines independently up to 160 degrees for patients who need to lie back. Padded headrest supports patients with limited head control. Padded calf supports and swing-away footrests position the legs correctly. The commode opening in the seat allows direct use over a toilet or with the supplied commode bucket. All upholstery is waterproof and antimicrobial for shower use. Four 360-degree locking caster wheels allow easy maneuvering. Width-adjustable seat accommodates varying patient sizes.
